Reviews and Ratings
The room was pretty noisy with the wooden floors, and I had to ask staff for another room as the first one was tiny compared to the previous night. Unfortunately, it was overlooking a building site, so cramped that I couldn't swing a cat, dirty with peeling wallpaper, and required walking up steps to the bathroom.
The hotel and restaurant are not value for money. The rooms were a tad below expectations; I had a 3-course meal at the hotel restaurant, and it was awful. The fish was so overcooked that it was all runny and dripped through my fork. The room was located above the kitchen, which made it too hot, and I would have asked for a room change if possible.
The hotel was not ideal for a pleasant stay as the rooms were overlooking a construction site, dirty, and in need of maintenance, but on the positive side, they were spacious and had the necessary facilities. Suitable mainly for budget trips, especially during less busy periods.
